The whole welfare fraud thing is also being completely misrepresented by the republicans. There has been a multi year ongoing investigation with arrests. The “investigation” video going around is total bs. Yes it is an issue but it hasn’t been ignored or covered up. It isn’t a simple fix, most issues like this can’t be solved overnight by bombing a third world country.

The gist of it seems to be that they didn’t pursue fraud because they were scared of appearing racist, and they were threatened with civil rights lawsuits if they did so. Which is a pussy move imo. There’s a way to do this without making it about race

I should clarify that this was in 2020 and MN was already reeling from accusations of racism because of George Floyd. And that certainly wasn’t just from “libs” but the entire left

That doesn’t mean we can’t have an extremely left leaning candidate have you even been following local politics outside of DC? We’ve had some big wins in small areas. MN might not be nyc, but they elected Tim Walz. If it was really that hard to get someone more progressive in the area, he wouldn’t have gotten elected.
