But there’s also more journalists in this day and age. I’m not discounting your point- but I think it would be stronger with some actual percentages of fatality.

i see what you're saying, but Israel has killed WAY more journalists than Russia and Ukraine by raw numbers, and DEFINITELY by percentage (despite happening concurrently) also, as far as killings in combat zones, the head of the Committee to Protect Journalists stated in 2024, "Israel's war on Gaza is more deadly to journalists than any previous war"
