We have the complete fossil record of the genus Equus. If you believe in domestication u therefore acknowledge that evolution is real because domestication is human driven evolution lmfao

Domestication is basically forced evolution by humans for desirable traits, like breeding racehorses from wild horses. The same thing goes for plants, not just animals. Early watermelon was not really edible at all either, pretty much entirely white part inside.

More about what it means to have a complete fossil record for Equus, like we have fossils from bacteria all the way to horse?

Equus is the genus, so it is the line that connects, horses, zebras, donkeys, etc.

So how complete means we can connect those animals?

Basically what #3 said. A lot of the plants and animals we domesticated can still be found in their wild form if that makes sense. While the Mongolian wild horse isn’t the direct ancestor to our domestic horse, the Mongolian wild horse was never domesticated and gives us a look at what they looked like. Mongolian wild horses and domestic horses are cousins

We have the record from the earliest “horse”, eohippus all the way to Hartman’s zebra which is the ancestor that horses, donkeys, and zebras branch from I’m pretty sure, u can fact check that. Modern equids, even equid hybrids such as mules, the less commonly known hinny(which is a reverse mule. Mules are the product of a male donkey and female horse hinnies are male horses bred to female donkeys) and zebroids(zebra crossed with horses and donkeys) all have what’s known as a chestnut

Chestnuts are the remnants from when equids had more than one digit. Horses, zebras, donkeys, and all equine hybrids all run and walk on one large toe. So we have records of prokaryotes leading to eukaryotes which led to plants and other various species. We know the lineage that started the mammals that eventually led to equids. Hope this helps! If you have any questions I’m willing to try and answer them :)
