it’s not a decade year though. that’s stupid and literally gives democrats a foot in the door to partisan gerrymander since a lot of their laws only allow redistricting during a census year lol. also as someone who has worked elections, citizens voting and the census are completely unrelated… like what does a count of the population have to do with voting? you don’t even tell the census bureau what party you are dummy
The main form of voter verification is comparing their current signature with their Voter Registration signature. The check-in tablets catch the rest (discrepancies in address and such). Elections are extremely difficult to commit fraud in and even after that, it’s reviewed several times. I had a friend in a different state whose dad was wrongfully accused of voter fraud (sending in a mail-in on her behalf) and the DA instantly tried to prosecute him
