Cruz was also a raging homophobic nazi. There were DMs of him with him obsessing over anti gay things. And even swastikas carved into some of the things he owned. Not even a year into his sentence he registered as a republican.

Antioch High School, Nashville. The shooters manifesto was full of white supremacist, antisemitic, anti‑Black, anti‑LGBTQ content; praising earlier far‑right mass shooters is a good example of this. You want to just ignore that Cruz subscribed to far right ideologies that current republican politicians hold?
