Internet came before web search. They’re pretty different, as is the microchip (which doesn’t have to be used for internet services, it can be used for other things like in cameras)

(And no, I’m not counting GPS because it took me to Portland, Oregon one time when I wanted to go to Maine. Drove all the way from NYC 🤦‍♂️)

It simply said it was taking me to Portland. It didn’t distinguish between the one in Oregon and Maine!

To be fair, it’s my fault for using Apple Maps. Of course an app run by liberals would lead me to the liberal Portland.
