Texas’ proposed gerrymandering plan is so insane, they have one district that would go from the Gulf of Mexico to the Oklahoma finger. If Texas goes through with this, then California, NY, Colorado, Minnesota, etc. absolutely have to do the same.

Idk what republicans think they are doing. If NY, Cali, Minnesota, and Illinois all gerrymander to the same effect they are never getting a majority in the house again

Do you have the link to this? I need to see each one highlighted because some of these colors are so close together I can’t tell the difference. Like what’s the green between the 3rd and 10th districts? Is that 3 or 10?

And if the maps were fair there’d be a lot more republican reps from NY, Cali, Minnesota and Illinois

No they aren’t. Illinois is the most out of those I listed but they can still pick up another seat. NY can pick up 7. Cali can pick up 6. Minnesota is an even 4-4 so they can likely pick up 1 or 2.

Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, NC, and SC also tried to redo strict in 2022 but got shut down because of their racial profiling. So don’t tell me that the dems do it to the same level
