Warren buffett’s salary was only 100k a year. His money came from the growth of his stock. You would have to introduce new laws to tax stocks before they are sold to effectively tax him.

Yeah true. Democrats have proposed things to address that though, like Biden’s American Families Plan that proposed capital gains being taxed as income for people making over $1 million a year, or the proposal made by senators Warren and Wyden that proposed a 20% minimum tax on unrealized gains for households worth over $100 million
