The death penalty I think is one of the few policies where being an absolutist is acceptable due to the finality of it. Even if they’re guilty of something, it just feels weirdly like not a good thing.

My problem is with the terrible prosecution system tho not the penalty and some people deserve it there's nothing more fitting for them. I think the burden of proof should be a much higher, undeniable bar though. If there's any doubt it should be avoided.
