He represents everything wrong with politics today. He is ancient. He is a pawn of lobbyists. He is an obstructionist, uses crises like the debt ceiling to push his agenda, and he’s just unpopular period.

The current issue is that he’s old or has some medical condition. He recently fell and has had two instances where he froze while speaking to the press

But he was a real villain during Obama’s presidency, where his sole goal was to make sure Obama never got anything passed. He also said we shouldn’t nominate a SCOTUS justice in an election year and let the next president do it. But when Trump came into office, McConnell was completely fine putting ACB in during an election year
