I guess I am confused by your comment of "by Dems" because I genuinely may be not knowledgeable on what the Dems have done in that area, but I DO agree that Dems are not perfect at ALL and I am open to hearing criticisms about them!

well probably, but I am curious as to what they have heard and that could help me understand their perspective of things. would then help in explaining my viewpoint and maybe we could come to an agreement and that's better than straight disagreement

I dunno, man, I’m not exactly interested in coming to an agreement with someone that wants to restrict my family’s access to healthcare, or put people I like in concentration camps, or detain people over memes making fun of the government, or deny scientific thought at every opportunity

no no no I totally get that!! I don't really want to either and I guarantee you that they don't want to either BUT the way you shape the convo shapes EVERYTHING!! my dad supports Israel, but I shape the convo about how Israel is fucking up the agreement Trump made... suddenly Israel fucking sucks... sure maybe they agree only in that one aspect, but finding THAT is so important!! he's able to listen and hear me more when I complain about Israel!!
