I'm not condoning the shooting, but when you push the amount of hate and vitriol that you do, what the fuck do you expect? We need to stop acting naive and tackle the fucking issue at it's core. Acting holier than thou isn't gonna solve shit

yeah you push hate and then also push a lack of gun control. stirring the pot like spinning a revolver. this could either be a wake up call for gun control or a weapon of rage. likely the latter. it’s going to pit people against each other so fast.

Gun violence has no place in America

I don’t care how much you hate someone. No one deserves it. It’s not a gun problem. It’s a mental health problem. No one in their right mind shoots someone they hate.

Is it hate speech because you don’t agree with it?

Charlie did not push fucking hate dude he was a moderate republican. You just didn’t agree with him and you aren’t smart enough to be able to see both sides of a conversation

so crazy thought here. maybe people who grow up with their peers getting shot in schools might grow up a little mentally fucked. like OBVIOUSLY you have to be mentally fucked to kill someone. guns just make it way easier for people to do that. fucked up people have existed forever. this isn’t some new mental health crisis. because they exist, we should make sure those people don’t get access to more powerful weapons.

Then you’re in the minority. You have never seen anyone get shot, I’ve never seen anyone get shot, it is almost certain no one reading this has ever seen someone get shot, and it’s very unlikely any of them know someone who’s seen someone get shot either. I’m not trying to minimize school shootings but to act like they’re a fact of life or something that’s been experienced by a significant fraction of the population is just ridiculous

I have seen someone get shot, my classmate killed a man over drugs. At least 20 of us saw it, and nearly every high school in my county has had a problem with kids sneaking guns into school and threatening students. They certainly are a fact of life in many places, I’m glad that wasn’t the case for you.

I’m sorry that happened to you but that doesn’t change the fact that cases like yours are very rare, except maybe in very rough areas

I agree they’re rare but not as rare as you think. This stuff goes underreported to protect district reputations and I’ve only seen it increase in frequency across all sorts of areas.
