It’s the tolerance of paradox. We can tolerate lots of different animals in our pet shop, but tolerating a tiger is stupid because it’s going to eat all the other fucking animals.

Counterpoint: the fascists are already using fascism. Retaliatory violence against the oppressor is much different.

Rebuttal²: Even if it came down to your hypothetical— I’d trade fascism with socialized govt housing, healthcare, and utilities to the current one where you die if you’re sick or unhoused. (That’s not what communism is, but you hopefully see my point) Also, missing the bit about retaliatory violence being different. There’s a difference between the people want to murder/displace refugees and Queer people and the people who want measurably harmful action & rehtoric cease by any means necessary
