like gen z is 1997-2012 but like, after the 1997-2004/5/6 group is where the gap becomes noticeable, in that covid had this weird radicalizing effect on a lot of them, pushing them far rightward. the first half of gen z is a continuance of the further progressivism of millennials, being the most progressive yet, but the second half is pushing boomers back
