Seen a lot of people hopping on the “It’s not left vs right, it’s up vs down” train. Yeah It’s totally not left vs right. It’s just the working class vs the elites. If only there was a political ideology which held that exact struggle as its core tenant.

Refucking tweet. Every time I see some genius say some shit like ‘they want us divided over politics but we gotta wake up bc it’s rich people vs us’ I feel like I’m gonna have an aneurism. No shit it’s rich people versus the working class, if you wanna actually do something about that maybe think for 3 seconds about who’s doing that work instead of being a preachy do nothing centrist

That’s just the right trying to do damage control. There is a clear connection between the elites and the party that keeps giving them tax cuts and adding pedos to their administrations

LEFTISTS (for anyone confused)

they are neanderthals. to them, politics is just tribalism. it's not about beliefs (they shift theirs on a whim) and it's not about policy (they don't understand complicated concepts with moving parts). it's just a way for them to express negativity as a group because it validates them. that's why it went from "left vs right" to "rich vs poor" instead of an actual comprehensive understanding of the issue. they simply don't have range beyond "[group A] good [group B] bad"

I agree and I’m a leftist but also a majority of politicians in practice are bad or at least self interested regardless of party lol not trying to start shit and it’s unfortunate but it is true people with money control the system and that means hard left leaners are less likely to get elected.

Dude that’s all my university chat is I stg. Some dumbfuck will quote someone’s post that discusses a genuinely important political issue with some ‘we have to stop bickering about politics bc no politicians care about us’ type bullshit and everyone eats it up. This like new-age-centrist-political-apathy-thing is a huge part of our countries ongoing downfall in my opinion

“Both sides bad” is just as much the far left as it is centrists. A way for them to excuse themselves from supporting the obviously better option in terms of outcomes for everyone because establishment Dems are not bending the knee to them on literally every single issue.

I wouldn’t phrase it exactly that way bc many democrats are pretty useless as far as advancing left causes but yeah generally speaking ur so right, lots of far left folks on here love to act superior for not voting democrat and letting trump win the presidency as if that did something to teach democrats a lesson

There are of course some worthless Dems, but even these would give better outcomes for people than basically any Republican. Let’s just agree that if your instinct in the election of “Fascist vs. Normie Dem” if your instinct is to go “Well, what has Normie Dem done to earn my vote?” you’re a fucking loser.

Yeah absolutely, sitting out in an election like 2024 should haunt anyone who chose to do so

they used to accuse all the democrats of it, but after undeniable evidence of republicans doing the same thing to a greater extent, they shifted from it being a partisan issue to it being a class issue
