He even outsourced his lying to Chinese bots 😭 For real though, I’ve noticed that there’s some really interesting patterns behind the way Trump lies. This term and during his campaign, he’s surprisingly transparent about his actions. However, he blatantly lies about the intentions of those actions or the impacts of said actions.

The other main way is having other people lie for him, and he uses those lies to push a narrative or to take action. Tylenol, tariffs, the cats and dogs in Ohio, and South Africa are all examples of this. He spent his first term outright lying about the other side, creating division in this country. This term, he uses the lies of others to strengthen his established narrative against political opponents and to even take action against them. It in turn strengthens his previous lies.
