I would argue that there’s also an inherently funny sense of situational irony in a man, who is paid off by gun manufacturers to downplay gun violence, once said “a few gun deaths are necessary,” and was IN THE MIDDLE OF DOWNPLAYING GUN VIOLENCE, got shot dead in an act of gun violence mid-sentence. Like that’s ironic to a fault. That’s some fucked-up Truman show shit. Feels like it was written as a gag by some political cartoonist.
