Actually when New Zealand instituted the Dawn Raids in the 1970s which disproportionately targeted Pacific Islanders as suspected visa overstayers, it was a major international controversy, particularly because Pacific Islanders made up only a third of visa overstayers in New Zealand. The raids created a culture of fear among legal Pacific Islander immigrants, and among native-born New Zealand Māori and Pasifika. The New Zealand government has since apologized for the Dawn Raids.

If America was worried about population and economy they should have better immigration policies as well as global policy, but we don’t, bc ppl won’t vote for it.
