Like, even if you think the parents are irresponsible, the child is innocent, and if you starve the child then there’s a 0% chance that they’re gonna develop properly to where they can do better than their parents did. Dude I just don’t think a 7 year old should starve because their dad is a deadbeat, that’s their dad’s problem, malnutrition completely fucks childhood development of the mind and body, which would permanently impair that child’s ability to function in society and become better than their parents. But no counter-argument I lay out does more to make you look bad than you arguing for the starvation of children. I just want you to know that.

Crazy how you think poverty is always the result of reckless breeding and not… *checks notes* ….corporate wages that don’t cover rent and groceries for even ONE kid in a lot of cities. “5 is too many” is such a privileged take. 5 kids isn’t the problem. The problem is we built an economy where even feeding one kid without help is almost impossible unless you’re upper class. Not even middle class can afford basic necessities now.
