She uploaded classified information into an AI program to let it determine what should remain classified, releasing state secrets to the internet. Usually, I’m all for getting out secrets, but when you are the DNI, protecting and ensuring our classified intel is literally your job description.

As stupid as that is it’s definitely not treasonous

It absolutely is. If you release secrets, accidentally or not, you have committed espionage and may be tried for treason under the espionage act. I have law and policy degrees, and this isn’t a complicated case.

According to Cornell Law School treason is “KNOWINGLY AND WILLFULLY communicates, furnishes, transmits, or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person, or publishes, or uses in any manner prejudicial to the safety or interest of the United States or for the benefit of any foreign government to the detriment of the United States any classified information”

She admitted it to the AP 6 days ago, and she published it. Even if she claims she didn’t know, anybody in her position should have known that uploading anything to an AI tool releases that information.
