The argument that Gen Z has an attitude problem and don’t care about their jobs is only partially true. It’s good to be optimistic, but no matter how hard we try, it just never seems to be enough for success and we end up exhausted.

THIS RIGHT HERE!!! my multibillion dollar company cut a lot of our benefits recently. moral was already low, but it’s almost nonexistent now i’ve put in hundreds of applications to no avail. i’m so tired. i know i’m not the only one experiencing this, either

I landed a stable job with a decent salary, but I’m well aware that my industry is one of the few that is undersaturated, so I had no problem finding a job, and I know a big portion of that is luck. I was also very motivated in school because I knew success would buy me freedom. To a degree, it does, but it isn’t really as motivating when I look at my coworkers who are 10+ years older than me and they all seem to have more stressful lives than mine.
