Honestly the way bigger issue is corporate real estate owners. Blackstone for one. Our generation isn’t just competing with other families anymore, we’re competing with billion dollar corporations. North Jersey cities and even as far down as Philly also have a huge issue with New Yorkers buying up a ton of homes. They either rent to anyone and don’t care or they commute to NYC for the higher pay while living in NJ/Philly for the lower housing/rent costs

Well they do rent it out. But someone could be living there instead of a bunch of Airbnb guests
