If the Jerusalem cross, an established and widely used faith symbol, is far right because some crusaders and some modern extremists used it, what does that say about the Star of David or the Islamic Shahada? Im begging you all to have some nuance.

When a synagogue uses the Star of David or a mosque the Shahada, that’s religious. When Israeli settlers spray paint Star of Davids all over Palestinian homes prior to beating the family or IS using the Shahada, that’s extremism. Like everything else in life, it depends on context.

Ok buddy is Jimmy Carter a white nationalist? Are Palestinians Christians in Jerusalem Nazis now? What about the entire population of Georgia? 🇬🇪 It sounds to me like you already understand all the pieces of the puzzle but insist on not putting them together because ???

In a way yes, i think the Jerusalem cross is fine as a religious symbol when used in context but it’s also a major Nazi dogwhistle so you have to pay close attention to who uses it
