It’s perfectly safe as long as it’s manufactured in a way to keep the fibers encapsulated
I mean it’s also just fundamentally bad at its job as a fire retardant we have way better fire retardants nowadays
Because asbestos isn’t actually non-flammable, it’s just got a really high flashpoint. But if it hits that temperature, it’s going up in flames.
I think it’s only used in brake pads now, no?
