Why? Because they themselves have accepted defeat without trying?

In fact, the opposite. Because Talarico actually has a chance of winning, in addition to his campaign being about the voters and their needs, not his desire to beat Trump and make a name for himself. He has a chance of winning the general, she has zero.

Fascinating. What’s his main platform?

Supporting the working class and ending corruption. He’s pretty clear and has his goals and policies laid out, what are Mrs. Crockett’s other than getting her name out there and pretending she can win Texas without flipping Trump voters? Better question, are you from Texas? Do you know anything beyond surface level disdain about Texas’ politics?

And p*ssing off Trump for Crockett

Literally like can we use our brains please. Her whole brand is Fuck Trump, her whole campaign marketing is “look at MEEE look how much they hate me!!” in TEXAS of all places

I am actually from Texas. Consponsoring 635 bills and introducing 22 doesn’t seem like nothing to me…

It would serve Crockett well to highlight that instead of p*ssing off Trump then

Okay genuinely thank God at least we’re both Texans, I asked cause there’s plenty of loud mouthed people on here that aren’t from our state yet pretend they know everything about it

(i’m not from Texas, but I am aware of Crockett and from what little I know of TX politics I don’t think she’d be a great fit as a statewide candidate there)

Her campaignnnnn dude I’m asking about her campaign, but certainly if we wanna talk about legislation. How many of those bills did passed or otherwise were substantive? How many times did she vote to fund israel? Why did she, yesterday, vote to support the trump admins gutting of USAID, enshrine anti abortion policy, send $3.3 bil to Israel, and further hike insurance costs??

Even better question, how much of her money is from Corporate PACs?

23%

23% too much, Talarico not only refuses it but has already worked and committed to work in the Senate to end corporate spending in politics

Regardless, you’re ignoring the elephant in the room. Crockett is not the candidate for this moment, she cannot and will not win a statewide general election. Especially when she boasts on the news about how she can win without flipping a single Trump voter.

Okie doke. We can have differing opinions.

I’d love if Texas had open and fair elections, but we simply don’t. We can’t ignore reality, reps have significantly more voting power due to gerrymandering and voter suppression. We need them to flip (what would without Crockett’s conniving otherwise be) the most winnable Tx senate election in modern history.

And do a quick google search at the republicans reaction to her entering the race, as well as alleged work by them to get her to do it in the first place.

Yes we can, but please employ some critical thought to your vote. I’m literally begging.
