I think the actual reality of what an uprising would entail is so far beyond what anyone understands. It means no food, water, and safety. It means that everything you DO have that you enjoy is gone, and it means that even after you likely die during it, victory STILL isn’t guaranteed

Like for all the hardships people endure, they still have their iPhones to go online and complain about it after. They have a home with electricity to charge that iPhone, and they have at least 1-2 meals a day. A revolution means that all goes away. And seeing how well people did during lockdown, ima go out on a limb and say they wouldn’t do too well in a revolt

That’s why I’m saying they have us right where they want us. We have just enough to have something to lose, but way too little to ever be a threat. We’re cooked

idk id personally be willing to put all of that on the line if it meant ensuring that we’d never build another concentration camp here.

i get what you’re saying, but big picture id like to believe people could put down their cushy comfortable life for the greater good of their country.

Problem is you can lay it all on the line and it still doesn’t ensure anything. Despots and dictators thrive in chaos. Going full revolt could very well make things even easier for Trump and his regime.
