Although (according to the Bible at least) Jesus kept the spirit of the law, he ‘broke the law’ by claiming to be the messiah, or maybe he just pissed off the wrong person. This photo satirizes people who “back the blue” and say “if you just follow the law you won’t get hurt” etc, which is ignorant of the experiences of many. This has been drunk me explaining meme.
