I mean I'm not actually constantly scared of this, I am scared of the idea that someone would in my immediate vicinity though and it may not always save my life but it probably helps to shoot back

I get that I just have a different life experience especially since I don’t have anyone depending on me, if I die I die is how I feel. I think being shot for no particular reason is extremely rare. Being raped then murdered or having a preexisting conflict and then being shot is particularly common though

Well yeah if you normalize carrying in your life then you can respond before your attacker shoots you (probably just at the point of rape, thats why most women buy guns)
