Why are rape, felony fraud, and sedition not deal breakers for republican voters?

I’m so tired of both the right and left wing, both have let me down. Can we just overthrow the government at this point.

They are for me but I'm not voting against my rights just to spite the other party

What do you need me to clarify

Anonymous replying to -> #1 1d

a couple things i think… 1) are you suggesting you will be voting for those things even though they’re a deal breaker? 2) what rights are you voting against (if you vote for the people who are NOT the rapist, felonious, seditious grifters)?

No I'm suggesting that if the two major options both represent things I don't want in this country (rape, tyranny, sedition), I wouldn't vote. The right I'm referring to that the other side wouldn't have allowed me is the RTKBA

… when has any side ever suggested that the 2nd amendment would be revoked… there’s literally only one side that is shredding and actively trying to destroy the constitutional rights and protections of Americans via executive orders and the illegitimately packed supreme court. like people are actively being raped & murdered in ICE detention and our democracy was literally at risk on 1/6/21 because Trump tried to submit fake electorates to steal the election… yet you’re only worried about guns.

why in the world would you think voting AGAINST sedition, felonious actions, corruption beyond your comprehension, and credible evidence of rape & sex trafficking is… “out of spite” instead of out of PROTECTION AND RESCUE OF THE SOUL OF YOUR DAMN COUNTRY?!

Kamala Harris had it in her campaign plan to ban all my guns, and that sorta goes against my right to keep them.

Also I'm not "only worried about guns" but I'm also not so unconcerned with my rights that I'd vote against them

yeah, the policy was reinstating the ban that expired in 2015 on assault weapons intended for war. that doesn’t mean your entire RTKBA for every single gun that Americans own… You literally gave our country away to be bought out and corrupted by seditious felons and rapists just so you can have fun at a gun range sometimes…

Maybe next time you can tell your politicians I'd consider voting for their side if they switched up their takes?

Also guns are weapons, what is assault gun even supposed to mean? A weapon that can assault someone? Spoiler alert, thats all of them.

you literally voted against your rights by voting for Trump. he’s taken away voting rights recently. you lost your right to healthcare when he tripled everyone’s premiums. he’s violated the rights of thousands of Americans in ICE detention, including many who’ve been in there for months even though they are indeed a citizen. he’s literally destroying the rule of law bc he keeps breaking the law… you just have no idea how much of your rights you’ve lost under this administration.

upvote 3 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #1 1d

Because you don’t vote AGAINST it. You chose to let our country fall into this ruin bc you have this fallacy that both sides are equally bad, when that’s just not true whatsoever. Trump admin is creating actual concentration camps and destroying the rule of law and you chose to let it happen.. all because you didn’t like that a policy from 2015 had the *potential* to be legally reimplemented by Congress.

they're corrupt in different ways but one's not worse than the other. and yeah, dems wanna take away my guns. literally couldn't own what i own if i lived in a blue state. if you think democrats don't want to get rid of guns you're fucking tripping.

dude i have lived in a blue state and people have plenty of guns. you think people aren’t shooting at ranges, target practice on acres of land, and hunting out in Wisconsin or Maine?? as long as you’re not a violent offender or have some egregious builds/modifiers, you should be good… i think someone convinced you to be scared about that.

the stock magazines i own are illegal in plenty of states. just regular mags from the factory.

Anonymous replying to -> #5 22h

isn’t that an addition and modification of the weapon initial weapon, though? i’m not personally advocating for that but i think extended mags are probably best kept at ranges since… not a lot of good reason to have them otherwise besides maybe convenience in the hobby, but any responsible gun owner knows cutting corners can cost you that precious safety when it comes to firearm storage & handling in residential zones.

upvote -1 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #2 22h

nope it's the regular mag it comes with when you buy the gun, i couldn't even use my gun in a blue state because the standard mag holds too many rounds and a little pussy mag wouldn't fit

how is using a standard magazine cutting corners? frankly we just disagree, we're never gonna agree, and it's insane to say dems don't wanna take away my guns. they do. they say it all the time.

Anonymous replying to -> #5 22h

no, i was saying that about when you throw overarching safety considerations to the wind just because you personally want a dozen more bullets in a single mag while you’re target shooting for fun… when the consequences of that dismissal of those safety considerations are potential death for others (particularly children in this country). i’m down for you having guns and those mags, just with maybe a little inconvenience. that’s not taking them away, just more responsibility for all owners.

Standard mags (11+ capacity) are useful for a lot more than just target shooting for fun, practically every purpose made self defense gun has them

man you’ve got horrific aim if you need a dozen bullets for self-defense, but i digress. i’d love to chat more about my personal proposals for gun legislation that every armed citizen i’ve spoken to has ultimately accepted as common sense. and they didn’t threaten shoot me once, so that’s how you know i’m legit about their gun rights lmao.

Also, when hunting it's not uncommon for one to carry a pistol with 11 or more rounds for close range wildlife defense, so to say it doesn't apply to hunting either would be inaccurate.

I guess I have to ask, what lawful applications of firearms do standard capacity mags not have their place in? Why should the people who use them lawfully be punished both by having their property taken and by being disarmed of the same capacity for the actions of criminals? If you plan to allow such lawful use, how would one even figure out whether or not you are buying the plastic box with a spring in it for criminal or lawful use? How would you stop unlawful manufacture/possess of magazines?

my pistol comes with 18 and 20 round mags only. that's it. all that fits. comes with them when you buy the gun. cannot use a whateber the fuck mini mag with that gun. legislating that would be taking away my gun.

also if i'm using a gun for self defense, i want more than a dozen bullets. i want to turn the threat into a fine mist. i do not want them to live longer than 5 seconds
