The Episcopal is also fairly liberal and affirms gay marriage and does a lot of out reach to help immigrants. the homeless and other marginalized communities

There’s really big distinctions actually, you probably just are not hearing from people like mainline Protestants and Quakers etc bc they’re normal about it and not up peoples ass all the time. You’ve definitely met lots of normal Christians and don’t know they’re Christian because for most non evangelicals it’s not our entire identity or something we feel the need to convert people to.
