the only ways in which this doesnt work are that: yes things r way too expensive, but most people are not starving. bigotry still exists, mostly in micro-aggressions. and obviously if someones biggest issue in their life is family or lonlieness or smth then ya no phone wont fix that but it is not your moral responsibility to stay up to date with all the horrible things that happen in the world.

i personally started a free after school program for girls ages 8-12 where i taught them life skills (like leadership, confidence, team work etc) as well as soccer at the end for fun
