Even if the accusations were false, treating false accusations as if they are on the same level as rape is nothing short of disgusting.

It’s equivalent, she should go to jail for the same amount of time they would if charged for rape. Lying and ruining peoples lives is on the same level.

They’re reopening the case, they didn’t write essays for rape they wrote essays bc they did ketamine and had an orgy. I’ve seen dozens of posts abt threatening the lives of the men and how they don’t deserve to live. Their lives are basically ruined.

I consider myself profoundly fortunate to be unable to fathom how much of a pathetic man would you would have to be to deny something that was clearly rape.

Having now read the full article (which is paywalled, by the way), it absolutely does not say what you’re claiming. “She changed her mind about going to police in the time between the incident and November 3rd” is absolutely not the same thing as “she changed her mind after she was disinvited from the Halloween party”

Yea obviously the article doesn’t explicitly state that but it can be inferred that after they spurned her by disinviting to the frat event she was angry and decided to take action against them. If she was truly raped why would she want to return to the place it happened with the same people.

Perhaps you can take the explanation offered by the article, which is that she didn’t fully understand what had happened and processed it over the course of a couple weeks. I gather that that’s fairly common when it comes to rape cases.
