Maga Communism gets underserved hate. The conservative base is filled with poor and working class people who just happen to be brainwashed. They only vote Trump because he fakes populism and they are a group that should be targeted by leftist measaging

I think they’re kinda naturally targeted by real leftist messaging tbh, save for the ones so far gone that actively pursuing them would lose the existing leftists. The real problem imo is specifically the Dems writing them off as you imply, while also always doing the max at every opportunity to obfuscate and suppress leftist messaging in general

I don’t think the ACP votes Trump or supports him anymore. A lot of the times they have a reasonably good idea but they execute it in the most horrid way possible. I still think Jackson Hinkle is too cuddly with the intelligence community and the party is way way too soft on bigotry for me to call myself a supporter

They are indeed hateful and dumb, but they also didn’t ask to be born into deeply racist cultures and a failed school system. Many can be genuinely nice people within their in-group. Bigotry is inexcusable and that should never be a point of compromise, but I don’t believe in writing people off either unless they’ve proven themselves truly irredeemable

And if one wakes up to their ways and changes would you just reject them outright? I don’t know if you realize but it is very common for a person’s views to change throughout their lives, and if you ever want to see actual change in our country a good way to do this is changing minds of people who have been brainwashed and mislead by a con artist
