I’m not saying the floods should’ve happened or that they’re good. Many innocent people are victims. I am saying if you’re an adult of sound mind, voted red, and are affected by the floods you 100 percent deserve it and I don’t feel bad.
man some of y’all are getting way too comfortable assuming everyone affected by this flooding is experiencing some sort of Karmic Justice for voting for trump

I kept doing that and they kept getting worse. It’s time for them to go.

as someone from texas, people from san antonio are not who you have beef with. it’s probably the most minority populated city in texas

I don’t have beef with the people of Antonio tho. I feel I’ve been very clear, adult republicans who voted for Trump this last election. That is where my beef lies. If none of them were affected by the flood, then nobody affected by the flood deserved it.

I’m sure Antonio is beautiful, as are most of the people.

this is like the same energy of israelis saying they only have beef with hamas and then viewing the slaughter of innocent palestinians as collateral damage. and like look i hate republicans too, but they’re still human beings. they’re just heavily indoctrinated

It really does not have the same energy as that. The death of innocent people here isn’t collateral. It is in part the CONSEQUENCE of Republican voters. A lack of disaster relief is DIRECTLY their fault. In my ideal world, even the worst Republican would get relief from natural disasters. But they didn’t want any. And the consequence of that is innocent death. So, forgive me for lacking sympathy when they die by their own hand, seeing as that hand is already coated in a thick layer of blood.

yeah i don’t really see the difference between your rhetoric and zionist rhetoric. “innocent palestinians dying is a CONSEQUENCE of the hamas attack, hanas could’ve worked with israel but they chose not to so i have no sympathy” like cmon

I’m also not making the natural disasters happen. There’s a pretty important distinction.

ok then analogy aside, cheering on human suffering is bad. i get some of them “voted for this” but like they’re still human. they didn’t intentionally vote for their death and their children’s death, they voted based on culture war ideas that have been shoved down their throats by fascist echo chambers. so i’m sorry for sympathizing with people from my state who are literally dying.

They’re humans who voted to increase human suffering for literally no reason. I know that they’re brainwashed. But there’s a line. They’re hurting too many people, I can’t just forgive them.

democrats also vote to increase human suffering bc of US foreign policy (and honestly domestic policy). do they deserve to die for that?
