Especially out west. They’re removing feral horses under the lie “the horses are destroying the environment and competing with the native wildlife” Horses and native wildlife out west don’t eat the same grasses. They’ll remove about a thousand horses or so and the pit 2-3,000 cattle out where the horses were “destroying and competing with wildlife.” Cattle are proven to destroy ecosystems and compete with native species. They’ll remove just want the land for cattle and the horses gone

no, it very much is an issue. it is the largest source of deforestation and land degradation. 83% of all agricultural lands are used to maintain animal agriculture, while plants already account for the majority of our diet. in the midst of a land and water crisis, it’s imperative that we reduce the things that have the most impact on both supplies

also animal agriculture, and agriculture in its current industrial form, is the largest source of biodiversity loss

The vast amount of resources required for animal agriculture are a serious environmental issue. Humane animal agriculture requires way more land than factory farming
