Exactly. I’m not saying communism and socialism is what we need, but it’s pretty clear how progressive economics will help this country

Well, good thing America has a progressive tax system (Only income above the tax bracket threshold is taxed at a higher rate. If the bracket starts at $10,000 and you make $10,100, $9,999 is taxed at the lower bracket and only $101 is taxed at a higher rate). Government is already inefficient (look at the ICE budget). Canada UBI experiment and while there’s always a slim minority that abuses a system, the vast majority actually needs it, it’s all about incentivizing work like the EITC does
