wowwww it’s almost like you discovered a significant trend!! the results of the election are NOT in fact random and so you can go ahead and reject the null hypothesis with a very high degree of confidence. next step, lets brainstorm potential factors that might have caused the trend we just discovered :)

The terrible statistics is the funny part. Even if every vote was a 50/50 random chance, an outcome does have to occur. The very specific outcome that does occur still has a very very very low probability of happening. Not one candidate winning but the exact totals of each candidate.

It’s funny because the stat is technically true. There’s astronomically low odds of specific vote totals happening but obviously a vote totals does have to happen. It’s like March Madness and how there 9 quintillion ways the bracket could be made but one of them has to be the result

lol i think u misunderstood the math, there’s more than 2.9 million voters in Texas. she’s saying the chances of 2.9 million voters all picking the same candidate (not sure which candidate she’s referring to) is astronomically small. the stats are bad because they’re done with the assumption that each voter as an independent random 50/50 chance of voting for one or the other candidate

Oh ya wait…. Now I’m mad confused lmao. What does 2.9 million even have to do with Texas lol. Totally skipped over that

OMG I FOUND IT Texas registered 2.9 million new voters between 2022 and 2024 and there’s some kind of conspiracy about them being illegal immigrants voting for democrats
