Most of Europe didn’t colonize anyone. Only 5 did any massive colonization for centuries. A few more did it for a couple of decades. Like Germany was a colonial nation for 40 years

Depends. Syrians have been avoiding France instead most head to Sweden or Germany neither having zero connections with Syrian colonization. Ireland has also been getting a lot of migrants from the UKs colonial empire
