But maybe Trump wouldn’t be in office if the Democratic Party did things differently in 2024. Trump was able to get into office because the Democratic Party failed to capitalize on the moment when Joe Biden stepped down

yeah not having a primary kinda fucked the DNC. also a lot of dem politicians don’t really seem like they want to materially oppose what’s going on, only make people think that they do. they did eventually cave to fund ICE. could’ve, and should’ve, shut the government down and went home. strip those fascists of the $$$ and let things fall apart on their bill.
