So interracial marriage isn’t heterosexual? And it has nothing to do with specifically Christian, but there were laws in the middle east that prohibits people outside of islamic faith to marry, pretty sure the same is true with Jewish faith or at least its a custom, and if you mean struggles about being specifically heterosexual again, St. Valentine became recognized for marrying straight couples in a time where young men getting married was prohibited
“And if you men struggles about being specifically heterosexual” is me not missing the point, and if you’re sidelining religious questions on the basis political discrepancies then I could say the same that “homosexual couples weren’t banned from getting married because they were gay.. its because they didn’t fit the Christian definition” (which they didn’t) which is preposterous to say, you can’t ignore something just because it has a qualifier of something else added to it.
