Maybe we should make them spendable on hot foods. As long as it’s not McDonald’s and junk food I’m okay with that.

Whether EBT can be used at McDonald’s and other fast-food restaurants is usually up to each state. You have to qualify for the Restaurant Meals Program, and usually that means you’re either unable to prepare food yourself (e.g. disability) or you don’t have housing or equipment that allows you to store and make food (e.g. homeless)

Well maybe if the government was open and people gave a damn about feeding folks and not WHO gets that food we’d be able to have that conversation
