Greek life is racist and I’d prefer they didn’t exist but like you can have DEI policies without mandating it. Because like tbh I’m queer and why the fuck would I want to join Greek life? And how does this apply for colleges with very different student populations. There are colleges in very white regions, there are historically black colleges, there are American Indian colleges. College demographics itself will vary.

AND there’s frats and sororities that are intended for black students. If we are mandating some specific proportion of different ethnicities that will introduce a lot of problems. Like Greek life just kind of sucks. It’s gross, I don’t like it. But this would be difficult to implement. DEI policies is different than a flat proportion mandate.
