Call me crazy but $20 for a box of baked goods, some shelf stable seasonings good for meals in the future and 2 lbs of meat isn’t that bad

Went to the cheap grocery store. $20 worth of groceries is now two lbs of ground beef, two shakers of taco seasoning, and a box of pastries. 20 fucking dollars for four items

Bread eggs butter and basic cooking ingredients used to be cheap. I think you’ve only known high grocery prices in your lifetime and think it’s the norm

Also, of course boxes of baked goods and multiple containers of seasonings are gonna be pricier, those sorts of groceries have always ran higher at a store. I’d say $20 for that on top of meat is a fair price,
