Nobody is going to ever want people to overthrow the party with values they align with. Just because you’re fighting for something with violence and guns allow violence doesn’t mean people who think guns are important have to approve of the underlying issue inciting the violence.

I never said they did. It’s just that either they think violent protests are reasonable or they don’t. You don’t just get to say violent protest isn’t ok in any circumstance when you’re actively advocating to be able to have guns specifically in case you want to violently overthrow the govt. Well I guess you do but it makes you look fucking stupid and further proves the point that conservatives have no actual principles.

They’re saying they don’t support these violent protests, not violent protests in general. I guarantee you conservatives think violence is ok a lot more than liberals do.
