One of the biggest names in entertainment lmao (we’re skipping over his Thin White Duke character). Until the AIDS epidemic, pretty much all men looked zesty as hell. Crop tops at the beach, tight leather pants, and long hair. Looking elaborately styled was peak masculinity. Axl Rose and Prince were very feminine looking, but there was 0 doubt they were straight and they FUCKED.

As I mentioned, the change came with the AIDS epidemic. People didn’t want to associate with gays because of the panic and the assumption that AIDS was a “gay disease” until Magic Johnson got it. They began dressing down, wearing looser clothes, and styling much less. It’s only within the past year or two that fitted clothes are making a return to straight culture, and I’m gonna tell you from experience that it turns heads from girls and gays alike.
