Honest question to those siding with Iran rn, could you explain why?

For me it’s that I’m siding against Trump because there really was no reason to strike Iran. The mixed messaging shows they didn’t even know if Iran was making nukes and they probably weren’t.

I don’t think anyone is siding with Iran. It’s just a debate of was this an unnecessary escalation or not? Was it thought through properly or not?

do you mean genuinely backing all of Iran’s actions or do you mean not supporting Israel’s bullshit and not wanting to go to war

Trump didn’t even wait the two weeks said he would give before deciding on a strike

I don’t want a bunch of Americans to die for Israel and do not care if a country with no ICBMs has a couple of deterrence weapons. I also simply doubt the claims of the people who’ve been ringing the Iran nuclear bell for 30 years, and lied about Iraqi weapons on the matter of an adversarial oil state having secret weapons that we totally have to go to war for. We killed a million people in Iraq over weapons that simply did not exist. Why would I believe them this time?

Because Iran is not corrupted by international liberalism unlike the US and that includes Trump

Last time the government made contradictory statements about a Middle Eastern country having weapons that we needed to stop them from having, they didn’t have them, and Americans died and got permanently disabled over it. I don’t believe the Republican Party about nukes in Iran, especially when each official in the administration has a different set of claims. They’ve pulled this lie before.
