I mean, ironically it is just fundamentally a redistribution of capital. Wether the “thieves” are keeping the items so they don’t have to spend their money in the future or if they are reselling them on the black market presumably at a marked down market value to be resold at also a marked down market value…🤷♂️ Either way, it’s getting redistributed.
Stores in areas with a lot of shoplifting are forced to bake those “losses” into their prices. So shoplifting means higher prices for anyone who shops at that store. It’s a theft not just from the store but from the community at large. Also universities, pension funds, and many people with some extra money to save are investing in large retail stocks. Shoplifting negatively impacts the stores revenues and hurts them aswell.
Yes, as a fellow white person that is exactly what I think. It is racist to want that future. We need to all live in gender non-specific, government funded, living blocks, where family institution doesn’t exists. Rather the community as a whole functions as the “family” unit so we can indoctrinate the next generation into socialist fanatics muwahahahahahah.
Wrong. That wasn’t critical thinking. The correct answer was because in the past, mental illness was everywhere just like it is today, except a cool little thing we do today is instead of throwing those people away into an institution forever and never looking back….we treat them with kindness. Like a humans. And we give them medication so they can exist alongside everyone else. Are you really this stupid? This was an easy critical thinking exercise too and you still failed.
Are you trying to dispute facts now? Also not critical thinking. The only thing that you said that has any kind of weight is that social media has caused an increase in depression and body image issues. Most of said people are still functioning individuals who have internal struggles and work. But again, we have learned kindness, instead of throwing fully functioning individuals into an institution.
