Also before some dumbass posts a fucking ai generated image of a 50’s housewife and breadwinner husband and says that is right wing extremism: what do you think the racial makeup of those communities was?

In reality, right wing extremists and left wing extremists are both fascists. Barely any difference between the two

It’s racist of the left to assume the idea is a 2 parent household is race exclusive

I mean, ironically it is just fundamentally a redistribution of capital. Wether the “thieves” are keeping the items so they don’t have to spend their money in the future or if they are reselling them on the black market presumably at a marked down market value to be resold at also a marked down market value…🤷‍♂️ Either way, it’s getting redistributed.

A car off the lot that goes for $30k that get’s stolen off the lot will sell for like $5-8k depending on the make/model/year.

Stores in areas with a lot of shoplifting are forced to bake those “losses” into their prices. So shoplifting means higher prices for anyone who shops at that store. It’s a theft not just from the store but from the community at large. Also universities, pension funds, and many people with some extra money to save are investing in large retail stocks. Shoplifting negatively impacts the stores revenues and hurts them aswell.

Maybe in smaller family owned businesses but I don’t think major retailers change their prices based off shoplifting unless you have evidence that they do.

They do. I know some people who worked in asset protection for Walmart and “shrinkage” is taken into account when setting prices

Anonymous replying to -> canesfan 6w

That may be the case but I highly doubt that an increase in price massively hurts consumers. And it is still a redistribution of capital regardless.🤷‍♂️

How could increased prices not hurt other shoppers?

One side is trying to get food to people who need it the other side is responsible for the disappearance of dozens to hundreds of innocent people, what are you talking about?

Racism is when your ideal is a white family living in a racially segregated suburb. Not to mention the kids get beaten and the wife is downing three kinds of meds every day just to avoid killing her husband and then herself

Fascism is a specifically right wing ideology. “The left are the real fascists!” is neo nazi propaganda rooted in the idea that violence against fascists is just as bad as the violence fascists are trying to engage in

I said “massively hurt” in that a slight increase in prices wouldn’t be that big of a deal frankly.

This is about extremists. If you go too far left and right wing you will find people it’s fascist politics.

Well the small increases add up, it’s not the end of the world but its a good enough reason to not shoplift.

yes and left wing extremism is not fascism. socialism is quite literally the our sole alternative to capitalism-driven extinction due to climate change.

then why did hitler go after the communists first 🤔

Anonymous replying to -> #10 6w

The issue is that when left wing radicals take power they commit violence against everyone who’s not as radical as they are, which also happens to be what fascists do, hence why people make the comparisons.

yeah the left has always struggled with infighting and esp today the dems basically tell progressives to go fuck themselves all the time so nothing ever gets done

So it’s racist for me to think of myself (a white person) as having a future in a nice suburban family, still being white in the future? Do I need to hope to turn black in the future or something?

Also I’d say that this generation is the most heavily medicated and mentally unhealthy generation we have recent record of. So idk where ur getting that idea

would you rather have a bunch of crazy people running around unmedicated like idk what ur point is. mentally ill people have always been a thing we used to have actual mental asylums around the country, not a “generation” thing.

Anonymous replying to -> #3 6w

Yes, as a fellow white person that is exactly what I think. It is racist to want that future. We need to all live in gender non-specific, government funded, living blocks, where family institution doesn’t exists. Rather the community as a whole functions as the “family” unit so we can indoctrinate the next generation into socialist fanatics muwahahahahahah.

Why is this generation the most heavily medicated and “unhealthy” generation? Answer that using critical thinking please.

Maybe because the idea of the nuclear family is being destroyed for one. Also the dominance of social media over face to face interactions, etc.

Anonymous replying to -> #3 6w

Wrong. That wasn’t critical thinking. The correct answer was because in the past, mental illness was everywhere just like it is today, except a cool little thing we do today is instead of throwing those people away into an institution forever and never looking back….we treat them with kindness. Like a humans. And we give them medication so they can exist alongside everyone else. Are you really this stupid? This was an easy critical thinking exercise too and you still failed.

Are you trying to dispute facts now? Also not critical thinking. The only thing that you said that has any kind of weight is that social media has caused an increase in depression and body image issues. Most of said people are still functioning individuals who have internal struggles and work. But again, we have learned kindness, instead of throwing fully functioning individuals into an institution.
