Can anyone explain to me how Zionism isn’t like super duper anti semitic in theory?

1/3 of the jews were slaughtered in the holocaust. How is it self-hating for them to want a place where that couldn’t happen again?

But it was popularized after the holocaust.

Popularization doesn’t change what an ideology believes at heart though

I disagree, but even if it didn’t I don’t understand how you can interpret it as an ideology that hates Jews

The reason Zionists decided Jews needed to move to the Levant was because they did not believe Jews could coexist in western society. That’s an antisemtic viewpoint.

1.) You misunderstand the logic behind the zionist movement. It wasn’t that no jews could coexist in other cultures, but that the longterm existence of the jewish people as a whole would be fragile without a jewish state. 2.) It’s not antisemitic to make the observation that Jews have been repeatedly genocided and persecuted across the globe throughout history.
