I actually just don’t believe you. I use ChatGPT for work all the time to analyze documents, power points, and pdf flyers and it hasn’t done me wrong yet. That’s not to say it’s PERFECT but analyzing text and language is literally what it’s built to do. The alternative is either read all 900 pages yourself (the best but least realistic option) or just trust the politicians and media when they tell you what it says (the bad option)
I wholeheartedly disagree with you. I have attempted to use large language models for scientific papers and it just doesn't work. I'm sure it's accurate for mostly text-based analysis but I've found that it struggles with statistical data. That was from my experience back when GPT was still 3.3, though, I'm a total luddite when it comes to AI now.
Ahhhhh see my work pays for ChatGPT premium so I get to use 4.5 and 4.0-mini which work super well for data analysis and deep research. I’ve found they do a pretty good job with analyzing large volumes of data whether it’s text or otherwise. Idk I just try to do my best with the tools I have.
