the hasan convo in the comments is crazy it’s a couple second long clip where he moves slightly (as one does) and the dog jumps. how are we so certain he shocked the dog¿ correlation ≠ causation. like are we this far removed from doing our own research? think what you want about him. I don’t believe he did shock the dog but even if he did, why would he do it on camera so casually? criticize him all you want but the argument really gets weakened when people go on ab shit this far fetched

sorry i still dont understand the hasan shock collar thing like people use invisible fences that activate shock collars all the time, or is that a different type of shock collar?

One of the worst opinions ive seen in a while

but people were upset that he HAD a shock collar to begin with, and that it seemed he had covered and removed the prongs. and this is still assuming he just has a button to control the shock (which ive felt, is more of a gag shock pen vibration), something ive never heard of

like its not an irregular thing to have the shock collar when you have a dog, and there are disks to use inside to restrict the dog from going certain places inside. which may not be about danger

Ok but I don’t think you have seen a clip of what Hassan did with his shock collar and if you have why are you still trying to defend him

hasan used a vibrating color which is used for training purposes? I was recommended to use it by my dog trainer if a clicker didn't work. some dogs are really stubborn

I mean I'm willing to believe it, yes. Shock collars also aren't inherently bad unless you use them incorrectly. I don't watch him enough to know everything, but if you hire a dog trainer, different ones recommend different things depending on your dogs learning style lol

I have seen it, but I don't watch Hasan enough to know his dog. Yelping doesn't mean it was a shock collar, it means the dog got frightened/shocked (emotional shock). He may not use it a lot, so even a strong vibration can scare the shit out of a dog when it's unexpected and not being used in a training instance which is where they're used to it. My dog freaked out over a skeleton in someone's yard like one instance isn't convincing enough for me
